This is the short way into the Sahel. From Alexandria, the first gates of Marina are roughly an hour away — and even Ras El Hekma is about two. Typical distances and driving times from your door:

Classic Travel has run from Alexandria for more than twenty years. Our office is in San Stefano, minutes from where the coastal road west begins — so the Sahel is not a route we added for the season. It is the road outside our door.
Our drivers do this run daily all summer. They know which gate your village uses, where the checkpoints sit, and which turn saves half an hour when the Thursday crowd heads west. Tell us the village name; the rest is our job.
It also means your car starts near you, not three hours away in Cairo. Short-notice bookings are rarely a problem — even in August.
A sedan suits a couple or a small family — up to four with light bags. Five to seven people with summer luggage ride better in the SUV. And for seven to ten, the whole beach house, take the van: room for everyone and the coolers too.

Yes — day trips are common on this short route: we drop you in the morning and pick you up from your gate the same evening. Just book both legs together.
Of course — a quick stop for groceries, a pharmacy or coffee is no problem. Mention longer stops when you book so we plan the time.
Any hour — we run 24/7. Dawn departures are a summer favourite for reaching the beach early, and late-night returns after a weekend are routine for us.
